UGA professor Sarah Workman has grown shitake, nameko and loin’s mane mushrooms in her backyard at her Watkinsville farm for some time now. Come learn how she does it! This certified organic course gives you, in a short period of time, the “ins and outs” of mushroom growing, taught by a passionate expert. You will get information on the optimal conditions for growing mushrooms and how to work with varieties that grow well in Georgia.
