Kids Enrichment University (KEU) is a summer day camp with the right combination of educational and recreational activities to produce a fun and memorable summer learning experience for children ages 8-14. The camp will run for four weeks. Each week presents a special array of educational offerings and includes hands-on educational activities, guest speakers, and field trips in disciplines such as art, computers, health, writing, science, math, and history. Campers are grouped according to grade level, with rising third through rising fifth graders grouped together and rising sixth through rising eighth graders combined for educational classes and activities. Families will be able to register their child(ren) for a full day (8:15 AM – 3:00 PM) or a half-day (8:15 AM – 1:00 PM).

Recreational activities will include swimming, bowling, skating, volleyball, and, of course, movie time.

KEU is a real community program offered in partnership with Caterpillar, the Griffin-Spalding County School System, the Spalding County Recreation and Parks, the City of Griffin Housing Authority, and several other local sponsors. Click here to access the page for more information.
